Frequently Asked Questions -

The most frequent questions should be answered here, but feel free to contact us for more information.

What does the trip price include?

Trips include use of equipment such as camping gear (except sleeping bags), biking gear (helmets, water bottles, gloves, SPD pedals), bilingual guides certified in wilderness first aid, and support vehicles. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

What is the accommodation like?

Depending on the trip, you will either be staying in hotels or camping. We want you to rest comfortably after the day's activities, so the hotels we've chosen are air-conditioned and usually will be in the typical style of the area we are visiting, thus complementing your adventure.

On nights when we camp we will set up in secluded areas offering all the comfort you might need after the day's activities. Camping gear provided includes:

  • Tents
  • Sleeping pads
  • Dry bags for personal luggage
  • Solar shower
  • Full kitchen gear

What will we eat?

We know the importance of good food during a vacation and because of this the meals are something special. In our equipment, we take a complete kitchen to help us prepare first class meals.

  • In the mornings, choose from pancakes, bagels, sausage & eggs, eggs & shredded beef, oatmeal, fruit, juice and cereals.
  • At lunchtime we will enjoy either a cold cut buffet, toast with smoked tuna, spaghetti, tacos, or cheese and ham salad, etc.
  • Dinners are delightful, featuring paper wrapped fish cooked with chilies, regional soups, lasagna, grilled beef with grilled cheese tacos, and more.
  • Of course we do not forget the desserts! During time spent at hotels, we take you to the best restaurants of the area.

How fit do I need to be?

We can suggest the right trip for you, but remember that you will have the comfort of knowing that our support vehicle is close by. If you feel you need some routine training, we can help you according to the type of trip you have chosen.

Is insurance included in the trip price?

Not included in the price, but excellent value, is a $40 USD insurance policy providing you with medical coverage while you are participating in sporting activities. While in the support vehicle, you will also be covered.

Can I make a cancellation or change my trip?

A $300.00 USD (for long tours) non-refundable deposit per person is required at the time the reservation is made. A change in date will be permitted 8 weeks prior to the scheduled trip date. Once the full cost of the trip has been paid, you will receive a 50% refund if you cancel 3 weeks or more before the trip date; if the cancellation is made 2 weeks or less before the trip date, no money will be refunded.
