Baja Adventure 4 day tour

Day 1

Early in the morning after breakfast we will transfer to the mountains where our ride starts. On this first day we have a 20 mile trail that starts with a single track that climbs through "sierra las cruces" taking us slowly toward "la Sierra de la Trincherra" in which we will end the day riding on a double track leading us to a magnificent riverbed were we will spend the night camping under a full stars sky.

• Accommodations: Camping on the riverbed of an old Hacienda hidden in Sierra La Trinchera. Campground with toilet facilities and running water. Hot water showers available.

Day 2

After enjoying our cowboy breakfast and once we break camp we will start riding on a double track that will show us the hidden way of life of the Baja ranchers. At the end of the trail we will stop for a cup of tea or coffee at a local ranch before we transfer to our campsite. For those who want to keep riding, we will follow the paved road for 16 km straight downhill, followed by 7 km on a flat paved road to get to a town, which is very well known for its windsurfing and kite boarding. We will spend the night camping opposite to the Sea of Cortes.

Day 3

Taking a paved road for 15 km, we will pass a couple of towns and then start on a dirt road that will take us through the mountains following a breathtaking coastal trail and bringing us to a hidden beach where we will take our lunch. After our official nap we will transfer to our hotel by the sea in Los Barriles. We will also offer the opportunity to do some more riding in the afternoon by doing a single track with a higher level of skill required.

• Accommodations: Inn by the beach.

Day 4

As the sun rises we will leave the hotel in the vehicle, taking us to the most challenging day on our itinerary. We will take the road heading toward San José del Cabo and then take a scenic dirt road that crosses the mountains, taking us from the Sea of Cortes to the Pacific Ocean. During our first climb we will be able to appreciate the turquoise blue of the Gulf of California and at the top of the second big climb the view of the Pacific Ocean will encourage us to finish. The ride ends as soon as we hit the paved road were we will transfer to your accommodations in la Paz.
