Baja Multisport Kayak-Bike 7 Day Tour

You will arrive a day earlier at the international airport in La Paz city. We will meet in the hotel at night to talk about the trip.

Day 1

Transfer from your hotel in La Paz to Espiritu Santo Island in a high speed motor boat. Guides discuss points on safety and provide beginners with the basics of sea kayaking and correct use of gear and kayaks. In the afternoon we embark on our first paddle beneath spectacular volcanic cliffs and arrive at the first of many beautiful beaches to set up camp.

• Transfer by car to the marina: 15 minutes.
• Transfer in a high speed motor boat: 45 minutes.
• Total Kayaking distance: 10 km.

Day 2

Continue in our kayaks exploring a new section of coastline with small offshore islands where numerous sea birds nest. Camp on a new beach.

• Total kayaking distance: 12 km.

Day 3

Complete our voyage to the end of the island. Final night camping on the island.

Day 4

Fast motor boat ride to a beautiful offshore island which is home to a large sea lion colony. Experience the amazing thrill of swimming with sea lion pups and snorkel amongst thousands of tropical fish. Lunch back at camp and then pack up to return to La Paz by mid afternoon.

• Transfer to the sea lion colony: 15 minutes.
• Transfer after lunch back to la Paz: 1 hour 20 minutes.

Day 5

After your early breakfast we will pick you up and transfer you toward our first bike ride which will take us to the heart of the hidden valleys in "la Sierra de la Laguna" mountain range. Through this bike ride we will experience a dramatic change in vegetation enjoying the essence of Baja semi-desert. In the afternoon there is the opportunity to do a short hike following the coastline to a secret beach. Great place were we will enjoy the waves taking a bath and playing with boogie boards.

• Transfer before the ride: 30 minutes.
• Total biking distance: 28 km
• Transfer after the ride: 15 minutes.
• Accommodations: Campground by the ocean. All the services available, hot showers, running water, full kitchen, palapa shade, definitely a magical place that reflects the essence of an artistic town.

Day 6

We will transfer by vehicle to El Rosario an old mining town. We will start our ride on a double track that will lead to San Antonio and El Triunfo, both magical, old mining towns. After enjoying part of the day here we will keep riding toward our campground in the mountains.

• Transfer before biking: 30 minutes.
• Total biking distance: 38km
• Accommodations: Campground with toilet facilities and running water. Hot water showers available.

Day 7

After our traditional Mexican breakfast we will start our ride following a double track that will take us through the mountains. Eventually we will connect with a single track ride with technical sections include boulders, rock bed, challenging descents and climbs. After this awesome and fun ride will transfer to your hotel in la Paz city. Remember that you are guest of honor to our Farewell dinner.
